Yemen
is connected to the world through a number of airlines of different
companies such as Yemenia
(Yemen Airways), United Airlines, KLM, Lufthansa, Royal Jordanian
and
Ethiopian Airlines which
connect Yemen to most of
European, Asian and African countries. Besides, most of Middle East
airline companies and as well as a number of international airline
companies make Yemen one of their destinations.
Yemen
has six airports for international flight and 12 airports for local
flight.
Sana'a International Airport, located 8 mi/13 km north of town.
Aden International Airport, Hodeidah International Airport, Taiz International Airport,
Mukalla International Airport and Saywun International Airport.

offers internal and global air service.
By bus or four-wheel-drive vehicles (depending on itinerary) you
can travel between cities on tours is generally. There are no
railroads, but limited bus service is available and increasing in
frequency. (If you're traveling by bus, be sure to arrive at the
station the day before or about half an hour early to purchase your

We recommend to be with company tour for the first visit to Yemen. For the second visit, rent a car without or with a driver.
